Using Internet Explorer Browser Application

1. How do I install the Fotopros Professional Editor on my pc?

  • Click �Download� in the menu bar to be redirected to the download page.
  • After entering your email address click the �Download�-button. A window will pop up asking you whether you would like to open the file or save it to your computer.
  • Click �Open� to immediately start the installation of the Editor, or click �Save� to first save the file to your computer. Then double click the file to start the installation.

    It might be necessary to download the windows .NET Framework before the Fotopros Professional Editor. This may be the case if you are running an older version of windows. Click here to download the windows .NET framework.
  • When the Fotopros Professional Editor is installed, a shortcut will appear on your desktop to start the program.

Your computer�s security settings are designed to help protect you from downloading files that you do not wish to download. You must disable your security setting for only the Fotopros Professional software to download. To download the Fotopros Professional Editor refer to the images below if prompted with these warnings.

9. When downloading the software a warning occurred �This publisher could not be verified. Are you sure you want to run this software?� what does this mean, and what do I do?

This warning tells you that the editor has not been digitally signed. A digital signature shows that once the editor was created that it has not been tampered with or altered. Since Fotopros Professional strives to implement new features for you the user the editor must be constantly updated so we do not digitally sign the editor. You must disable all pop-up blockers for the Fotopros Professional site to be able to download the Fotopros Professional editor. If the Firefox Mozilla web browser shows you the warning �Firefox prevented this site from opening a popup window.�, then you must disable this Pop-Up blocker to download the software. To disable the Firefox Mozilla Pop-Up blocker refer to the instructions in the two images below. If you disable the Pop-Up Blocker and still nothing happens click the �Please click Here� button again. 8. A window appeared that says �Opening Fotopros Professional Editor�� What do I do next? 

Follow the instructions below to save the editor onto your computer and open it.

Step 1)

Using Firefox Mozilla you must save the executable file to your computer before you run it. Select the save button and you will be prompted with another window.

Step 2)

If you are prompted with the window box displayed below select Open to run the editor. If you are not prompted with this window refer to the image below.

If you are prompted with the window box displayed below then you must find what location the file downloaded to. The directory that the editor file downloaded to will be indicated in the window, an example is shown below. Typically this is the desktop directory, if it says desktop then refer to your desktop to find the file and open it.

9. A warning appeared �Open Executable File� what do I do?

If you receive a warning message like the one below, it is warning you that executable files could be dangerous and could contain viruses or other dangerous coding. Fotopros Professional strives to protect our software from alteration and viruses. Click ok to download the Editor as indicated in the image below.






Ordering and Billing

1. How do I order a memory book?

  • After you have previewed and saved your memory book to make sure it appears exactly as you want it to, click on the �Order� button near the top of the Fotopros Professional editor.
  • You will then be asked to enter your email address and to choose which method to upload your photos. It is recommended to select FTP. Click �OK� to begin uploading.
  • Your photos will now begin uploading. This may take a few minutes depending on your connection speed.
  • Once your upload has been successfully completed, you may close out your Fotopros Professional Editor.
  • You will then receive an email from the Fotopros Professional Customer Service Team to click on the link provided in the email, to complete your order and payment information.
  • After you provide payment and shipment information, your book will be sent directly to our production facility and we will begin printing.
  • A shipping confirmation email will be sent to you with a tracking number.

2. How much will it cost to ship my memory book?

Our shipping costs depend on the shipping method chosen and the quantity of items purchased. The cost includes a base price, plus per item.

3. How long will it take to get my memory book shipped to me?

Your product will ship in 3 to 5 business days. Delivery time will be determined by the shipping method chosen.

4. I made a mistake - can I cancel my order? 

Unfortunately, because of the production expense of print on demand manufacturing, Fotopros Professional cannot cancel orders.

5. Is my credit card information secure?

Yes, all credit cards are processed with our secure order pages. The Fotopros Professional site is secured with a Secured Certificate and most browsers will show a �locked� icon in the status bar.

6. I have not received a shipping confirmation email, what is the status of my order?

If you have not received a shipping confirmation email within 5 days from placing your order, please call our customer service line at (877) 768-4744.

7. When I tried to upload my product through the editor I get an error how do I continue with my order?

First try the other methods of uploading. Try both FTP with the �passive FTP connection� check box checked and the box unchecked. Then try the HTTP connection.

NOTE: Both of these methods may take a great deal of time depending on connection speeds so be patient.
